How it works

1The sensor is connected and the sensor type and unit (°C or °F) are selected in the SENS parameter.
2The setpoint is set with the + and − keys within the US and LS limits.
3PID or ON-OFF is selected. In PID, autotuning calculates P, I and D and the unit starts controlling.
4The alarms (type 1 to 6, 0 = disabled) and their hysteresis are programmed; when active, ALR is shown on the front.

Frequently asked questions

What does autotuning do?

It automatically calculates and sets the P, I and D parameters for the system. It can be run on the setpoint (1) or 10 % below it (10).

Which alarm types does it have?

Six: upper and lower relative to the setpoint, out of band, in band, upper absolute and lower absolute. With 0 the alarm is disabled.

What is the difference between the U and C versions?

The U version plugs into an 11-pin socket; the C version has connectors.
