How it works

1With the unit de-energised, the options are selected with the side DIP switch: reset, polarity, output type, divider and filter.
2The preset is set from the front; the display shows it next to the count in another colour.
3When the counter reaches the preset the output switches on: latched, timed (0.2 to 2 s) or recycling the count.
4The front reset or input Z returns the count to zero or to the preset.

Can it count with an encoder?

Yes, it has a phase discrimination option for encoders and an add / subtract option with inputs A and B.

Does it count mechanical contacts without bounce?

Yes, with the 30 Hz filter enabled by DIP switch.

What is the difference between XCEU602 and XCEC602?

The same functions: the XCEU602 connects on an 11-pin socket and the XCEC602 has plug-in connectors.
