How it works

1With the unit de-energised, the function and input polarity are selected with the side DIP switch.
2The preset or both presets are programmed with the PROG key.
3When the count reaches a preset its output (F or L) switches on, latched or timed according to the DIP switch.
4In batch counter mode, each time F is reached one is added to the second counter; when L is reached its output switches on.

Frequently asked questions

Does it need a power supply for the sensor?

No. It has a 12 VDC 50 mA supply on terminals 1 (+) and 3 (−) of the XCEU502; if the load is exceeded OVERLOAD is shown.

What is the batch counter function?

It works as two chained counters: when the first preset (F) is reached, one is added to the second (L) and the first returns to zero.

What is the difference between XCEU502 and XCEC502?

The same functions: the XCEU502 connects on an 11-pin socket and the XCEC502 has plug-in connectors.
