XVEU070 8-digit pulse totaliser with front reset: accumulated count up to 99,999,999 at 5 kHz and reset from the front.

• ✓Add / subtract: input A (6) adds and input B (5) subtracts
• ✓Phase discrimination for encoders

• ✓Reset from the front or by external input; the front reset can be disabled by DIP switch

How it works

1. 1With the unit de-energised, the polarity, mode (add / subtract or encoder) and input speed are selected with the side DIP switch.
2. 2Each pulse on input A adds one to the count; each pulse on input B subtracts one.
3. 3With an encoder, the direction is detected from the phase of the two signals.
4. 4The count is reset with the front reset key or the external input.
