How it works

1With the unit de-energised, the function, counting edge and input polarity are selected with the side DIP switch.
2With PROG and RUN together the scale factor, decimal point and, if the mode requires it, the output times are programmed; with PROG, the presets.
3When the count reaches a preset its output (F or L) switches on, latched or timed according to the DIP switch.
4Each pulse is multiplied by the scale factor: the display shows the quantity directly (m, l, pieces) and the count can go up or down.

No. It has a built-in sensor power supply.

What is the scale factor for?

To read directly in the unit you need: for example, metres of material or litres from a flow meter, instead of pulses.

Does it count on the rising or falling edge?
